On Wednesday (January 29), the Recording Academy announced twelve new live performers that will be taking part in the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony. The night’s star-studded live lineup now includes Stevie Wonder, Cynthia Erivo, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Lainey Wilson, Herbie Hancock, Brittany Howard, Brad Paisley, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, and Jacob Collier, who join previously announced performers Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims. Some artists will be performing in the annual In Memoriam segment, as well as a star-studded salute to the life and legacy of Quincy Jones, and tributes celebrating the spirit of the city of Los Angeles taking place throughout the ceremony. This year’s telecast will also focus on raising funds to support Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts and to honor first responders. The 2025 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on February 2 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and stream on Paramount+. (Variety)
