The man charged in Tupac Shakur‘s 1996 shooting death, Duane “Keffe D” Davis, asserts his innocence in a new jailhouse interview with ABC News. Davis, who is facing first-degree murder charges, is speaking out for the first time since his arrest two years ago for the 1996 shooting of the rap legend in Las Vegas. “I’m innocent. I ain’t killed nobody, never did ever kill nobody,” Davis said in the hour-long conversation at the Clark County Detention Center. “I’m supposed to be out there enjoying my twilight. Enjoying life with my kids,” he said, while calling himself a “good man” who has left behind the drug dealing game he was once involved in. Davis’ trial was originally set to begin this month, but in February, the trial was pushed to 2026 following the emergence of new evidence. (Rolling Stone)
